Running a business today requires the development of knowledge and skills that cannot be secured in the curricula of the university faculties. Leaders that the market needs should be able to clearly assess critical situations and make decisions, sometimes difficult, assuming the responsibilities they entail. For this reason, Pedralbes Residence Hall, in collaboration with IESE, organizes each year the Summer School “Management of companies: a professional future”, with the participation of professors, managers and entrepreneurs.

The teaching method, backed by many years of experience in the management school is the case method. In addition to the working sessions taking place in the morning, the course includes lectures and conversations with teachers or employers, career guidance sessions, sports competitions, visits to landmarks of Barcelona and its surroundings, and Christian formation.
