TRIP TO PORTAVENTURA FROM RESIDENCE HALL PEDRALBES
Yes, folks, it happened. Last weekend we’ve been in one of the most expected activities of the year: the trip to PortAventura, one of the best theme parks in Europe. The organization was in charge of the new dean of Pedralbes, who did his best to make it one of the most memorable activities.
A total of nearly 30 residents left early Pedralbes Residence Hall. For some of the group it was his first time there, like Patrick and Joseph, from Scotland and Venezuela respectively; and for others, it was the occasion to repeat and go back in time to his childhood. Anyway it was exciting for all of us.
As we were approaching the park, the excitement was greater. We could see in the distance the Dragon Khan, which is now dwarfed by the imposing Shambala; and although there were clouds that threatened to dampen the party, there was nothing that could stop us. So the weather decided to behave well and allowed us to enjoy the day without rainy problems. It wasn’t even cold.
As soon as we arrived to the park, without hesitation, we all went straight to the ‘Dragon Khan’, one of the most amazing fair attractions. Although we had to queue for a while, staying all together made the waiting time more enjoyable.
