The fitness club
There are some residents in Pedralbes who go to the gym many times a week, and of course, they’re pretty fit. There are some others who don’t do any kind of sport, but they know they should do something. These two types of residents have found for the first time this year a space in common: the Fitness Club. Emerged on the initiative of Mauro (from the Caribbean island, Aruba) and Kyan (from the country of chocolate and watches, Switzerland), the fitness club meets every Thursday and Saturday for half an hour to do a few rounds of exercises following the “hit” training. The idea of that training is to do a lot in a short time, and in a very intense way. Members of the Fitness Club assure us that “the studies endorse this method because it is very efficient”. The coaches are Mauro and Kyan; the first one works from the waist up, and the second one, from the waist down. That’s because each one is an expert in their own. In fact, there are some internal jokes about the matter: “if you want to have Mauro’s back and Kyan’s butt, join the fitness club.”
