Get together with José Manuel Almuzara
They had presented him to us days before as one of the architects of Sagrada Familia, and the rumor spread through the Residence, although in the end it turned out that it was not like that. That’s right: he was an architect, he had written several books about Antoni Gaudí, and he was a member of the Scientific Committee of Gaudí’s World Congress, as well as the president of the Pro-Beatification Association of the Catalan genius.
To accompany him at the table during the dinner, priority was given to architecture student residents. Then, the conference revolved around his book published in 2008, “Gaudí and the Holy Family”, and the speaker explained in a very didactic way, and helped by a power point, the process of building Sagrada Familia as if a tale, and the infinity of symbolic details in the monument, capturing the attention of all his listeners.
You could tell he knew for a while, and that he could have continued talking all night, as above all his passion for his discipline was noticed, which he emphasized with famous Gaudí phrases about love for what one does. He is José Manuel Almuzara, gaudiologist and urban architect.
