A. Cultural Activities.

Modern society need polyvalent, open mind individuals capable of overcome traditional limits between different subjects of knowledge. To accomplish it, in Pedralbes is promoted a cultural environment that involves new fields, different to the ones involved on your studies.

With all the activities, from gatherings-debates and literature workshop, to the movie season or the “tuna” (student music group), is pretended to promote the authentic university spirit. If you want, you can find out about the activities in more detail in this section.

B. Humanistic and spiritual education.

The Hall of Residence’s chaplain offers -with no obligation- Christian education means and individual spiritual care. The doctrinal and religious education is entrusted to the Opus Dei, Prelature of the Catholic Church, founded in 1928 by saint Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer.

During the academic year ancillary visits to needy families and people in marginal zones of Barcelona are promoted, virtues and Christian values like solidarity, friendship, etc. are also fomented among the residents
